It has been quite a while since we have heard news about Fallout 4. Pete Hines even said “not to even ask us about the game or questions how far in development the game is”. So if fans want news about the game where can they get it?
Well IGN bloggers have given fans some news with a post called “Can Bethesda Make Fallout 4 the Best Game Of The Next Generation?” Many fans said that they have full confidence that it will be the best game ever. However what got fans excited was something that was said in the article.
“First things first, I know that Fallout 4 is currently in active development at Bethesda.”
This is big news of course for fans waiting to hear information. More so as Bethesda are keeping quiet about Fallout 4.
So do they know something that we don’t? They could as they are tight with some of the major studios.
So other than from IGN is there any news on Fallout 4?
Well there is a bit yes.
One of the level designers for Fallout 2 and Fallout: New Vegas has been talking about game locations. This is someone that did have insider information about Fallout: new Vegas. He said:
“We actually were kicking around some ideas after New Vegas for cool locations for the next Fallout. One of our designers Nathanial Chapman mentioned it’d be really cool to do a Fallout New Orleans. Have an entire city that had like a dam structure and lots of factions and tensions fighting in that city. And then our lead programmer on New Vegas, Frank Kowalkowski, he really wanted to do a Fallout that is set in San Francisco,” Avellone said. “In terms of stuff on the East Coast, there was this really brief mention of this region called the Erie Stretch in the Fallout 3 DLC [The Pit]. And I am really curious to see if they’ll bring that region back in future Fallout installments because it seemed like a really intriguing location to explore.”
Fallout 4 fans might want to watch out for Gamescon as Bethesda is making an appearance at the event. Perhaps there will be a teaser for Fallout 4?
