We have been keeping our readers updated with talk about the Google Nexus 5. Perhaps you have heard about a mystery handset that was seen, which was said to be the Nexus 5 and this has brought about new renders of the phone.
Last week a Nexus handset was spotted on a video from Google showing off KitKat Android 4.4. The images flashed around the web and there was a lot of talk about it being the Nexus 5.
There has been an unknown handset passed through the FFC and this has the model number LG D820 and it could be the Nexus 5. The same article showed a concept design of the handset that took inspiration from the Nexus on the Google video.
Now we have seen two more concepts. The first came from Vovicon, a user on Reddit. He has used the same measurements for the LG device that showed up on the FCC along with using the shape that was seen in the recent video.
The second concept handset of the Nexus 5 came from a user over at the Verge forums. This too came with the measurements of the device which passed through FCC, 131.9mm x 68.2mm. The top is rounded, much like the LG Nexus 4, then the design is different as the curve leads to what is nearly a point at the top.
The unknown Nexus device came with a large camera lens on the back and up to now this has been an area that has been lacking with Nexus devices.
We have seen three concept designs of the Nexus 5 up to now and perhaps more will come in the weeks to come. It should be interesting to see if any of the concepts come anywhere close to the real deal, when it arrives.
So what do you think about the concept handsets? Do you think any of them will look like the real deal?
