It won’t be too long now before the Motorola X should be coming out. However it was said that this device wouldn’t have the Nexus branding but that it would have some characteristics of the Nexus. Now new intel is adding further confusion to this.
The Motoroa X has been said to be the first to be making its way out with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and that it would have a display of 5 inches with 440ppi. The handset is thought to be coming out on 15th May and it could be sold in the Google Play Store. Of course if you are a tech fan you will know that the Google I/O is set for that date and Nexus handsets only are sold in the Google Play Store.
Over at Eaglesrant.com they believe that this could mean that the Motorola X and the upcoming Google Nexus 5 are one and the same. The blog says, “the device referred to by the press as the Motorola X Phone may not carry Motorola’s branding after all,” and that it, “might just be the next ‘pure’ Google phone, contrary to initial reports that it wouldn’t be a true Nexus device.”
It has been said that the Motorola X will have a camera of 13 megapixels, 2GB of RAM and it may have a quad core processor. While there hasn’t been anything official from Google, these are some of the many rumours going around. When the Motorola X makes it way out it will be in competition with the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z.
So what do you think, is the Google Nexus 5 and the Motorola X the same handset?
