The Samsung Galaxy S3 has Jelly Bean 4.1 and 4.2 as owners are able to install official and custom ROMs. If you have Jelly Bean installed on your handset then there are some tricks that you might not know about.
You can reduce the animation scale of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to make it faster and snapper. Just head into Settings> Developer Options and change the window animation scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scale.
You can release memory if you clear the RAM. This will kill apps which you are not using. Just press and hold the Home key and then choose RAM: Clear memory.
Un-install any apps that you don’t use as many of them run in the background. Head into Settings > Application manager and choose apps to get rid of.
You can maximise the camera in Shooting mode on your device, such as Panorama and then play around with the different types of image capturing techniques.
If you have shaky hands you can enable Anti-shake as it will help you to take sharper images. The same also works for taking videos.
You can personalise the camera buttons. Inside the app for the camera you can click on the wand icon and then customise the camera buttons and create shortcuts for easy access.
If you want to take a fast screenshot of your device all you have to do is wave the palm of your hand over the display. Go into Settings > Motion > Palm swipe to capture.
Make sure that you reset your handset each month and this can help to reduce the amount of glitches and crashes in the system. This is similar to what you do when you restart your computer. Phones also need to have their cache erased.
The Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other icons are on the notification shade and these will take you to the own settings. Just press down and hold the icon and the configuration for the icon will come up.
You can have multiple times on your handsets for different places. Just tap and hold the clock to add and delete times you want.
You can enable audio applications on the notifications shade. Just head into Settings > Accessory > Audio Applications.
