The iPhone 6 is rumored to make its world debut at WWDC 2013 this summer. This is of course a little sooner than expected given that the last iPhone (iPhone 5) only launched in October of last year.
However with reports coming in that Apple wants to space out its products over the year, this may come true. Last year we saw a new iPhone, iPad and MacBooks all revealed in the second half of the year.
Earlier this week though, the first report emerged that suggested the iPhone 6 may not debut at WWDC 2013 because of a delay caused by a carrier. IB Times Australia reports that because the T-Mobile iPhone 5 is only hitting stores this month, Apple has decided to delay the iPhone 6 launch to a later date.
Even if this does prove true, it has to be the most asanine thing I’ve heard. Imagine delaying the iPhone 6, Apple’s flagship smartphone that is set to release all over the globe, because one little carrier in the US was late to jump on the Apple bandwagon!
I would understand if IBT Australia suggested that a T-Mobile iPhone 6 would be delayed but for the rest of globe to be left waiting for the iPhone 6 because of the pink carrier is nonsense.
What do you think folks?
