As we move further into 2013, more new smartphone releases are expected with better tech and innovative software features. On top of the list of upcoming phones rumored for 2013 are these three devices – Motorola X, Google Nexus 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Let’s take a look.
Motorola X: Believed to be a series of smartphones instead of just a single device, the Motorola X is believe to share similar design traits as the current RAZR series but boast a stripped down Moto UI and customizable hardware. By the latter we mean that you have color and RAM choices to begin with. If this is true, then the Motorola X will be the first mass-marketed fully customizable Android smartphone.
Google Nexus 5: Rumors suggest that LG may get a second shot at the Nexus series with an LG Nexus 5. Hardware-wise tipsters put it with sharing similar specs to the LG Optimus G Pro apart from the stock Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS. It is expected to have the same size display as the LG Nexus 4 but an upgraded processor (Snapdragon 800), 13-megapixel rear camera and LTE.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3: The last on our list of rumored upcoming phones for 2013 is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It is believed to boast a 5.9-inch display, a slight upsize over the current Note 2, but it will be a flexible, unbreakable display. It will also boast an upgraded S-Pen, 128GB storage option and the same Exynos 5 octa-core processor seen on the Samsung Galaxy S4.
